As the leaves fall from the trees Lord, I fall down on my knees to praise You! As we move into Autumn make sure you take time to praise the Lord for all that He has done for you. As we complete our first month of school we are very thankful for all of our new students, families and staff that are with us. And we feel blessed to have so many families that continue to allow us to love and educate their child. We praise the Lord for all of You!!
Parent Teacher Fellowship
New to our school this year is the PTF! The PTF is a group of parents, guardians and family members that glorify God through supporting the school's teachers, students and administration. They will play and intergal part in the overall life of the school by being responsible for fundraising, teacher appreciation, room parents and other events. The PTF's budget to help the school is based on the amount of membership we receive. Therefore, our goal is to gain 150% of membership including parents, grandparents and other family members. Prayer Works
"Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find;...for everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds." - Luke 11:9-10 Another new program here a school is Parents in Prayer. Each Monday morning at 8:00am a group of parents will get together here at school to pray for the school and to meet any prayer request that we have come in. Prayer request boxes have been set up at each office for you to leave you request. Request can be anonoymous of not. If you would like to join in the power of prayer please contact Jessica Fiore, PTF Parents in Prayer Chairperson, at
jlf731@gmail.com or stop by the Cafe at 8:00am on Monday's.
Room Parents
We need your help! Room Parents are an important part of our school. They help with class parties, class needs, and school events. We want each classroom to have at least one room parent to help as needed. If you are interested in contributing some of your time to your child's class please contact Trista Murphy, PTF Room Parent Chairperson, at
tristamurphy@comcast.net.

September Events
A Grand Event for our Grandparents
Grandparents your invited to come and share your child's day with them. Wednesday, September 8th we will celebrate Grandparents Day. Grandparents come join us at 9:30am for our chapel service. Then at 10:00am you'll go to the gym to enjoy activities with your grandkid! We'll take pictures, complete an art project and enjoy cookies and punch. We want you to know how important you are and that CCA loves grandparents!! If you'll be taking your grandchild home please make sure to sign them out before leaving. Please RSVP for this event by September 3rd. We hope to see you there!
St. Jude Math-a-Thon
Our elementary students can participate in raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital during the month of September. We'll kick off this important event with an assembly on Wednesday, September 1st at 2:45pm. We'll have a special guest speaker and view a video all about St. Jude. This event will help St. Jude patients by raising money and our students with their arithmetic!
St. Jude Trike-a-Thon
While our elementary students are busy raising money for St. Jude so will our preschool students (Old two's thru Jr. K). Sponsor forms for this event will be going home at the end of August. If you plan to participate please fill out the permission form and begin collecting donations. Then on the day of the event bring your child's donations, form, trike/riding toy and helmet. The students will ride for 30 minutes during their morning outside time which will be aproximately 25 laps. We hope you can help St. Jude!!
Open House Night
Come take a trip around the "Son Harvest County Fair" at our annual Open House on Thursday, September 23rd from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. This is a great opportunity to speak with your child's teacher, see some of their work and meet other families. We hope to see you there!!
October Events
Elementary Fall Break
The elementary students will be out of school on October 8 & 11 for fall break. CCA's school age full-day camp will be avaliable on those days for students who need care. The cost for students currently enrolled is an additional $10.00 per days attended.
Parent Teacher Fellowship Members Meeting
Our first ever PTF members meeting. The PTF board will present upcoming events, the PTF budget, fundraiser ideas and more during this first meeting. Please join us at 6:00pm upstairs in the cafeteria.
Harvest Parties
Preschool: Our celebration will begin with a costume parade in the gymnasium at 3:00pm. After the parade students will head back to their classrooms to enjoy thier party. When dressing your child in costume please keep in mind that we do not celebrate Halloween and ask that there be no witches, vampires, ghosts etc.
Elementary: This celebration will begin with a costume contest at 1:30pm in the gym then we'll move back to our rooms for our parties.
